Dear students,

When penning your personal journals on group identity, some of you have used the term “clique” and the rest of you have used the terms “click” when referring to your group of friends.

 As defined by thefreedictionary.com, the definitions for the two terms are as follows:

 Clique:  A small exclusive group of friends or associates.

 Click: a short light metallic sound (among other definitions)

From the above definitions, it can be observed that “clique” should be the right term to use when referring to the group of friends that you associate with.
